Trust me. The graphics are so old and stuttery that the game is not worth playing. They look like they are PS2 or Wii quality. Do NOT buy this product. Boycott this obvious attempt for EA to phone-in this terrible quality. Bioware is capable of much better.

Although I thought the biggest choice I would have to make with this game was which platform to buy, its become a much more disappointing issue. After reading the reviews here, I decided to borrow it first instead of buying.

Although the trailers looked great, the actual graphics are not what you would expect from a 3G title. But even sadder…

Though I was mildly curious about the “Sexual” aspects of the game, I was indeed shocked to discover that sexual preference has become a character attribute! I hope this Fad will soon Fade, or the Fereldens are not the only ones headed for extinction. I know many of the software developers and hollywood types swing all sorts of ways, but I have recently felt even more bombarded by an agenda, including last week’s episode of Heroes (which the kids can no longer watch). We are not all drunken sailors out here buying these games, most of us are trying to raise families. I don’t think my sensitivities have changed, the same sex thing is just so…In Your Face lately, which I feel (sex of any type) has little to do with the enjoyment of killing monsters, plundering treasure or creating Heroes, I suppose about as much as beastiality and prostitution does. Baldur’s Gate became an instant classic without any of it.

I am wondering about all the technology they have, with all sorts of option menus in the software, why we are not able to Disable or tone down the blood from these extremes, as well as the cursing and sexual innuendo for that matter.

Just because I am an adult does not mean I prefer or require that in my games and if they are doing it to entice the kids, well that is just Wrong. If this is what being a “Mature” title is all about, then I think maybe I don’t need this for the PS3 or the Xbox, these items add nothing relevant to the gameplay. Hopefully they will introduce a Teen version for the Wii. Its a shame to see all that development talent result in this.
